All That Is Solid Returns To Soil

The series explores places where human presence has faded and nature quietly reclaims the stage. In these forgotten spaces, decay becomes transformation: moss, fungi, and rain dissolve our built environments into living matter. Through photography, I document this slow undoing — not as loss, but as a return. What once seemed solid begins to breathe again, reminding us that nothing is permanent, and that beauty lives in the process of becoming.

The exhibition was on view from July to September 2023 as part of Sotheby’s ARTIST QUARTERLY in Vienna.
